Women’s Wellness Book Club with Dr. Alisha Reed

Women’s Wellness Book Club with Dr. Alisha Reed

Thursday, July 17 | 5:30–7 PM

Join us for an uplifting evening of conversation, reflection, and community at the Women’s Wellness Book Club. Each month, we dive into a book that supports our collective journey toward living well—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Come ready to share your thoughts and connect with other women passionate about wellness. We’ll explore themes from this month’s selection, The Road Back to You, and how its wisdom can show up in our everyday lives.

The Road Back to You - The Enneagram is an ancient personality typing system with an uncanny accuracy in describing how human beings are wired, both positively and negatively. In The Road Back to You Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile forge a unique approach―a practical, comprehensive way of accessing Enneagram wisdom. Not only will you learn more about yourself, but you will also start to see the world through other people's eyes, understanding how and why people think, feel, and act the way they do.

Please RSVP to christa@Salon22nola.com.

VIRTUAL Get Sh*t Done Day with Lelia Gowland

VIRTUAL Get Sh*t Done Day with Lelia Gowland

A grown-up study date with strategic support and accountability.

July 24
11- 12pm CT

How would it feel to knock out some of those pesky “to-dos” that you keep avoiding or finally take action on that big project?

Particularly when my motivation is low, one of my favorite (and most effective) productivity hacks is strategic co-working time, so…

Let’s get Sh*t done, together!

Curious about what to expect?

First, we’ll visit and share what we’ll be working on independently. I’ll offer strategic support and guidance. Then, we’ll have a work block to GSD (get shit done) while muted. At the end, we’ll celebrate what we’ve accomplished.

It’s a blast.

Whether you want to knock out a big report or just dedicate time for self-care (literally, one client showed up in a clay face mask), I’d love to see you.

As one client said, “I got more done [during the party] than I have in the last 2 weeks.”

It’s free, and folks of all genders are welcome. Please invite friends — the more the merrier!

Clothing Swap + Drive

Clothing Swap + Drive at Salon22

Saturday, July 26

11 AM – 1 PM

Join us for a feel-good Saturday event that blends connection, giving, and great style.

This Clothing Swap + Drive is a chance to clean out your closet, refresh your wardrobe, and support other women in the process. Bring any gently used women’s clothing—from casual to dressy—and browse the racks to find something new-to-you. No sales, just swaps! We'll have tables and clothing racks set up for an easy, welcoming experience.

In addition to the swap, we’re hosting a targeted clothing drive for Dress for Success, supporting women entering or re-entering the workforce. We’ll be collecting gently used professional and business casual attire:

  • Handbags (crossbody bags, tote bags, even backpacks would be great!)

  • Clean, professional shoes, low to medium heel (especially sizes 10–12)

  • Dresses and suits that are in seasonally appropriate styles

  • Custom jewelry to help finish off our clients’ looks

Any items left at the end of the event will be donated to a local charity.

Light bites and refreshments will be provided, and guests will also have a chance to explore the beautiful space at Salon22 and connect with like-minded women from across New Orleans.

“We’re always looking for creative ways to bring women together, especially during slower months when we all need a refresh. This event is about connection, generosity, and lifting each other up—through fashion, conversation, and the simple act of giving.”

🎟️ Tickets: $25

Salon22 and New Orleans Girls Club members receive $5 off.
